- Navigate to Web > Reservations
- On the right-hand side, click More > Add Block
- Next, you will configure the block you are looking to create. Below is an outline of each field you will need to configure.

- Name this block: pick a name for the block. We recommend being specific for tracking changes.
- Table(s) or area(as): choose the tables or seating areas you would like to block
- What time should the block occur?: choose the type of block you are looking to create
- Remember to choose the right type of time frame here since that will change how your blocks work
- You can choose one of the 4 options mentioned prior, All times // All times during a shift // Custom time range // Start time only
- How often should the block occur?: Choose one of the two following options:
- On a single date: Choose this if the block is for a singular day
- Repeat on a custom date range: Choose this if you need the block to occur over a wider range of dates.
- Who can override this block?: by default, only Managers and Superusers can book over a block. Use this if you would like to allow Sub-Managers, Basic, or specific users to override.
- Release time: only set if you want your block to release at a certain time
Hit the 'Add Block' button and you are all set!
Editing and Deleting Blocks
You can easily edit and remove blocks on Web.
- Navigate to a shift where there is a block you would like to edit/delete
- Click on the block you would like to adjust
- Click Edit/Remove
